We had trouble with our propane-gas fire pit at my Escondido rental. The fire was extremely aggressive and sometimes it had backfire under the gas pipe. I was concerned about the safety issue and then I found Richard from Yelp. We were so lucky to have Richard on board. He was supposed to only come take a look the problem, but he ended up spending two hours diagnosing thoroughly, checking the gas pipe for leakage, cleaning the whole internal of fire pit, rerouting the gas pipes, and putting on 24" H-burner covered with lava rock and black glass. We were very satisfied his work and really appreciated his hospitality. Watching his work, we knew he was somebody you can trust, since he cared a lot about details, step by step. We definitely recommend him to anyone who need help with fireplaces.

So thankful for Richard making accommodations for me!! We are in the process of selling our home & needed some major repairs to the chimney. I started calling places and everywhere was booked two month out!!! I left Fire Safe a detailed message with my address and what I needed done. I also made it clear I didn't want to get an estimate if there was no room in the schedule for my work. Jayce came out gave us a quote & I immediately asked to be scheduled. It did take another week (of me panicking) before Richard called with a date for the work to be done. The repair work looks amazing and we get to enjoy our fireplace on Christmas!!

Just had Jayce out to inspect our fireplace from Richard Losey's Chimney Sweeping Company. Jayce was on-time, prepared, knowledgeable and professional. He shared quite a bit of information on the construction, code requirements and condition of our fireplace. We were about to remodel the face of the fireplace and he shared great information so that we could ensure a remodel well done and to code. He took pictures and reviewed them with us from the interior and roof views which gave great confidence that our unit was in great shape and did not try to sell services or unnecessary repairs! We just had Richard Losey's company come out yesterday for a chimney cleaning and inspection, Jayce did a great job and his inspection revealed some cracks and damage inside the firebox as well as on the exterior of our chimney. Jayce came back today to do the repairs and we can now have fires with confidence once the cold weather sets in. I highly recommend Fire Safe for both cleaning and repairs!

We recently hired Fire Safe to inspect and sweep the chimney in an older home that we purchased a few months ago. The tech was extremely knowledgeable and explained the entire process to us, as well as talking with us about what we should and shouldn't be doing on a regular basis to care for our chimney. He was professional, on time and did a great job. The price was very reasonable compared to some other quotes I got. I will be using Fire Safe yearly for our chimney maintenance.
